The ratio of the pile in the down will affect the fluffiness of the down. The higher the proportion of the pile in the down, the better the filling power and the quality of the down is.
The size of the pile in the down will also affect the fluffiness of the down. The bigger the pile in the down the higher the filling power is.
The moisture content in the down largely affects the filling power of down.
The oxygen consumption index of the down is also one of the key point what influences the filling power.
From the above four factors analysis, it is not precise to say that goose down is better than duck down. It is the way factories use to dispose goose down and duck down that decides down quality.
